Bigger placements (expected around late 2026–early 2027): takeover spots are expected to get bigger and more prominent on mobile and desktop.
Part of a takeover day (testing expected around Q4 2026–Q1 2027, wider in 2027): buy a slice of a takeover day instead of the whole day.
Who should use Reddit takeover ads?
Takeovers make sense when one day matters a lot: a game launch, a product drop or a big announcement. For steady sales, regular campaigns with community targeting usually work better, because they reach the right people again and again instead of everyone once.
